Description
This is an Ideal doll, Saucy Walker from the early 1950’s, between 1951-1955.She is all hard plastic (Hercules acetate) and is a walker type. Her limbs are pretty stiff, maybe you will know how to loosen her up. I don’t want to force the limbs and possibly break something, as I am not an expert in fixing walker-type dolls.
Her eyes open and close freely with 100% great lashes. No paint rubs that I can see. She has a speaker grill in her tummy but her mechanism isn’t working. She is supposed to say “mama” when working.
She measures 17” tall. She is marked on the back of her neck, “Ideal Doll W 16”.
Her outfit is original to her; it’s in nice shape. Her shoes are also marked “Ideal Toy Corp.” The left shoe has a small split in the strap, but the right shoe’s strap is fine. Her rayon socks show some play wear.
I would say her hair color is a lovely dark chocolate brown and is in very nice shape.
