The color is closest to the main photo & is a “off white” & not a ‘pure white’.
Roja gives this piece a very 'cultural couture'edge, inspired from the wonderful textiles of Mexico! Definitely one that will demand the compliments!Between the fabric feel,the gorgeous  embroidered floral,as well as the embroidered color choices,gives this a overall super appealing look!
A rich maroon acts as the dominant color, with a complimenting array of pinks & reds,along with accents of vivid turquoise,yellows & lime greens that are beautifully embroidered against a ivory colored backdrop & pull the artful display together & bring all the colors to life!
If you follow Mexican textiles,this is shaped much like the tops that come out of Oaxaca &
Guatemala
..It is a wide rectangular shaped cut & much like the Huipils worn from those areas of Mexico.Though called a "Poncho",this is more like a top & is partially sewn in the midriff area on the sides & keeps it stationary,so it is more like a top,rather than a poncho.
There is approximately a 5-1/2" sewn area (North to South) between the arm hole & the slit at the bottom(See photos 9 & 10) This area also is not sewn to the edge (East/West)of the garment & will determine what size you choose.(See 'inside seam' measurement)
The material is a weightier cotton fabric & will be perfect when worn in just about any season..
It is 'signature' Roja,designed with all the cultural beauty they are known for & one of the more awaited garments of the season! Perfect look for the cowgirl to a Mexican Folk Art style!
